A hybrid is not automatically exempt from low-emission zone rules. Check the registration category, emissions information and any recognised electric-vehicle identification.

Plug-in and conventional hybrids

The label “hybrid” covers different drivetrains. Driving on battery power when you enter a zone does not by itself establish an exemption. Check the city’s published rules and the documents for your particular vehicle.
