One green sticker for German low-emission zones

Your sticker is valid in German low-emission zones wherever you travel. It must remain readable and show your current registration number.

The requirement also applies to vehicles registered outside Germany. Meeting the emissions standard alone is not enough: the sticker must be displayed on the windscreen. Some cities also have separate local vehicle restrictions.
